Three Repousse Horse Ornaments

Description: Group of three silver repoussé horse ornaments of the Xianbei people, most likely for a horse’s headstall or a saddle. Two of the plaques represent antelopes with a raised foreleg and one has a raised circle motif. Though known in North East China, this piece came through the extreme Northwest (Xinjiang province)
