Scythian Plaques

Description: Pair of Scythian plaques with three mythological animals attacking one another. The largest Gryphon’s upper beak (the animal to the left) forms the wings of the topmost Gryphon who is in turn being attacked by a smaller gryphon or raptor. There are rings on the verso for attachment.
